  • An intensive five-day course

  • Sponsored by Kansas ChildFirst, Inc.

  • In conjunction with the National Child Protection Training Center

  • An interactive course - lectures, demonstrations, hands-on experience

  • Students conducting a 30-minute interview with an actor/actress role-playing an abused child

  • The necessary skills to conduct a competent, investigative interview of a child abuse victim

  • Using the ChildFirst forensic interview process

  • About multidisciplinary teams

  • The ideal course for frontline child abuse investigators and prosecutors

  • Limited to 40 students

  • Pre-course reading

  • Homework assignments

  • Final written examination
